R & D Department

The Micro Channel Heat Exchanger Division of Kasun is focused on continuing to develop our R&D department. Being able to offer our clients leading edge technology is one of the ways that we serve them. With over 40 R&D engineers and a state-of-the-art lab and testing facility, we are focused on creating technologies and methods that improve the efficiency of our products.

We have technology partners in Xi’an Jiantong University and Zhejiang University. These relationships coupled with our own innovative R&D department, put us at the forefront of micro channel technology.

In addition to our quality condensers, we are now also able to offer evaporator and heat-pump solutions.


Kasun works with the highest quality in anti-corrosion material. We are excited to be approaching a new phase in manufacturing by introducing (AA9153) into the production of our micro channels.
All of our micro channels are made with an in-house zinc coating. For our clients that desire stronger anti-corrosion, we also offer an Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate (EVA) coating.  This EVA coating has passed a 2000hr salt-spray test. Corrosion resistance is increased by over 300% and initial performance drop-off is 3%
Our connection pieces are welded Copper-Steel-Aluminum rather than Copper to Aluminum. This allows us to significantly strengthen our weld and consequently decrease the possibility of leakage that is stress induced.
